This is a great start!
I'm a big fan of the combat, it reminds me of the 2D Zelda games such as A Link to the Past.
One thing that I noticed was that sometimes when you are hit by an enemy and and are not sent back far enough, the enemy would stop attacking.
I really like the animations and how the game looks overall! Excited to see what else you add to the game.
